Core values
- Learning is the driving force; instruction is the way
to impart learning.
- Accreditation is essential, as formal recognition of
our learning processes.
- Technology is but one of the tools we use in
instruction and learning; it does not drive instruction.
- As a tool, technology must:
- Have a direct and positive impact on learning.
- Be reliable and available when and where it is
needed.
- Be easy to use or well supported by technical
staff.
- Objective research, direct faculty evaluation of
technology tools and sound student feedback about learning effectiveness are
the only ways to effectively evaluate, select and maintain technology tools.
